LAUNEDDAS

Launeddas

Roberto Tangianu / Dante Tangianu / Giuseppe Abis

Roberto Tangianu continues the tradition of "Launeddas" (the triple clarinet) that can be traced back to 2700 BCE in Egypt.
It is a complex style of music that requires "circular breathing" and continues to be a cornerstone of Sardinian music.
Roberto performs here with his father and Giuseppe Abis.
