From the open spaces and relentless wind of Patagonia, the gaucho continue to live with nature as they crisscross the vast wilderness. Herding cattle, singing songs, and telling stories, they are the caretakers and the minstrels, the poets and the backbone of the South American wilderness.
The opening "copla" (verse) is sung by none other than Chaqueño Palavecino.
